Dr. Alison Pattison Founder
Alison Pattison, Ed.D., is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Arizona Provider Training (APT). APT is the largest training organization in Arizona- providing first-class education and training to caregivers who serve the I/DD community. Alison has focused her passion for teaching and learning for over 25 years to author and develop over 200 online and in-person courses that maximize adult learning. Her background includes fifteen years of teaching and counseling at the elementary and high school levels in both Arizona and Louisiana.
Since 2003, Alison has served as a faculty member at various universities including Arizona State University, Northern Arizona University, Louisiana State University, and Grand Canyon University. Alison currently serves as doctoral faculty at GCU and is a Senior Doctoral Dissertation Chair. She also teaches graduate classes in the College of Education at GCU. Alison serves as Co-Chair of the DCW Alliance Executive Committee and Chair of the DCW Curriculum Committee. Her educational background include a Doctorate in Education: Organizational Leadership, a Master’s degree in Education: School Counseling, and a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education.
Mark Stone
Mark Stone, Ed.D., is an experienced consultant and educator. Mark partners with groups across the United States to develop solutions to suit the often-multi-faceted challenges and needs of organizations in the education, healthcare, technology, hospitality, recreation, and non-profit sectors. Mark uses experience from his background as a serial entrepreneur, having founded and sold companies in the UK and US.
As a Certified Predictive Index analyst, Mark supports APT customers with coaching support concerning short and long-term planning activity, offering subject-matter expertise on leadership, turnover, hiring, and talent optimization. This, alongside his experience as a university instructor for adult learners in marketing, innovation, ethics, organizational development, strategic operations, and entrepreneurship, allows him to balance offering practical and evidence-based advice.
Stephanie Brown
Stephanie Brown was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ. She has been a trainer for many years. She is also a Sate lead trainer for Article 9 and Prevention and Support. In 2019, she completed her RBT courses, and is now a licensed Registered Behavior Technician.
Stephanie is a wife of over 20 years, a mom of 6, a Nana of 3 grandbabies, and she loves spending time with them! Stephanie teaches Article 9, Prevention and Support, CPR, First Aid, Recognizingand Reporting Abuse and Neglect, CPI, and BLS CPR/FA.
Stephanie is also our Director of Instruction.
Priscilla Nevarez
Priscilla Marie Nevarez was born in Arizona and has lived here since. She has worked with kids on the spectrum since she graduated high school and has taken all of the classes that APT teaches and believes in them. Priscilla is now apart of the APT leadership team as their Quality Assurance Manager. She is also now a mom and loves everything about it.
